Social Change Project: VAWC

In this day and time, the social issue that caught my eye the most is about the unending Violence Against Women and Children or VAWC. No one exactly knew when this violence began nor the intensity of it. However, ancient history dates back to when women were not allowed to be educated nor given major roles in the society. 

Due to this discrimination, women came together to build a solid foundation for their oppressors to hear their plea. This issue calls for a social change to protect not only women alone but also their children

The goal for ICT as a tool for Social Change could be: to spread awareness about the issue, to provide knowledge on what to do, to assist people who experience the issue, and to prevent the further harm, possibility and/or negative effects brought by the issue.
